Retail chain Argos has awarded a three-year repair and maintenance contract for its fleet of HGVs to independent commercial vehicle business Pullman, part of Wincanton.
The contract will see Pullman deploying nationwide repair and maintenance solutions for 1,500 motives and trailers, operating from seven locations across the UK.
Pullman's network of 30 service centres and 150 mobile service vans clinched the deal for Argos, which has 740 stores.
"From the outset we were clear that we required a business partner that had both the scale and capability to provide a national solution delivering common standards across the UK," says Phil Hull, Argos's distribution director.
The deal will create 12 additional jobs at Pullman.
