Automotive logistics firm DF Services (Kent) has taken delivery of 10 car transporters in its first full-service contract hire deal with Fraikin.
The seven-year agreement sees Fraikin supplying Iveco Stralis 6x2 tractors, with accompanying Rolfo Ego transporters, as replacements for other vehicles within the operator’s 54-strong transporter fleet.
The deal is a bespoke arrangement, with Fraikin managing the fleet and DF Services performing all repair and maintenance tasks at its own workshop.
Justin Eynon, commercial director at DF Services (Kent), says Fraikin offered “a very competitive package”, adding: “It has been tailor-made to the extent that we can combine Fraikin’s expertise in funding and fleet management with our on-site workshop, allowing us to conduct repairs out-of-hours to reduce vehicle downtime.
“It’s a win-win situation for both organisations.”
