Axtec, the British vehicle overloading prevention technology firm, says it will once again be joining the transport industry at the CV Show 2012, and showing its commercial vehicle axle weighing systems.
The only British manufacturer specialising in axle weighing, Axtec – which has been at the Show every year since it started – has built a reputation for systems that maximise the legal utilisation of vehicles.
Visitors will be able to see its dynamic, on-board, portable and static axle weighing systems, as well as the Axtec 4000 dynamic weighbridge, which has been awarded two test certificates for accuracy.
Since 1996 Axtec has been the principal contractor to VOSA for the supply, calibration, testing and maintenance of the national enforcement network of 67 roadside weighbridges, the overwhelming majority being Axtec dynamic weighbridges.
In other CV Show news, organiser Crystal Communications has confirmed that www.cvshow.com and www.workshopshow.co.uk now feature links to the ticket application process.
By clicking on the 'free tickets' panel on the Transport Engineer homepage, visitors can register and immediately receive barcoded entry tickets.
The process is entirely online this year and visitors simply need to print tickets and bring them to the Show, where they will be scanned at the entrance.
