BMW Specialist Cars, based in Tring, took delivery of a single-width and double-width trolley from Gratnells, putting them through their paces in the workshop on a six-week trial.
In its busy workshop, the challenge was to provide a way for technicians to store and transport the tools and parts required for specific jobs.
Gratnells suggested its 1025 single- and 2025 double-width trolleys, along with a range of F-type trays in various colours. A variety of tray depths and colours were chosen to help sort and store items.
Technicians said the former was a great portable miniature workstation, while the 2025 often acted as a central resource point.
BMW technician Jack Roethenbaugh commented: “The trolleys are extremely versatile and excellent for temporary storage. They could be customised with different trays, making them suitable for almost every job.”
