Bosch, Knorr-Bremse and ZF have launched the Alltrucks GmbH & Co. KG joint venture in Munich, Germany.
The three automotive and commercial vehicle suppliers' JV will operate as system centre, providing a new workshop franchise for commercial vehicle workshops.
Alltrucks, headquartered in Munich, will initially employ 10 people, and commercial vehicle workshops in Germany will be able to join the franchise system this year.
They will gain access to services including a technical hotline, training, information and quality management, as well as diagnostic systems and workshop equipment.
The companies say they are planning a gradual rollout of the franchise in other countries — first in Austria, Switzerland, Poland and Italy, followed by the whole of Europe.
