Bridgestone has announced that its Duravis R002 tyres have beaten competitor products for performance in wet conditions, in tests performed by TUV SUD.
In the tests, carried out November by TUV SUD at Bridgestone’s European proving ground, in Italy, the Duravis R002 was also found to improve wear life by 45% and cost per kilometre by 15% compared to its predessor, the R001.
The 3PMSF-marked Duravis R002 is designed to provide year-round performance in a variety of road conditions and is available in 15 sizes.
TUV tested the Duravis R002 for lateral grip and wet braking against Continental’s Hybrid HS3/HD3, Goodyear’s KMax S/D Gen-2 and Michelin’s X MultiWay 3D XZE/XDE.
