LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) supplier Calor Gas has signed a two-year deal with Goodyear Dunlop, following a two-year trial.
David Brown, fleet asset manager from Calor Gas, explains that the trial was focused on the total life cost of tyres, looking particularly at performance, durability and associated services.
"For us, the two year trial was the perfect test," states Brown. "We looked at many different areas and the results showed that Goodyear offered the best performance without compromising other criteria."
Calor Gas will now fit its tractor units, trailers and rigids with Goodyear's regional haul tyres, as well as using Goodyear's retread offering NextTread.
