All 20 on order are Scania Irizar i6S models, of which 18 will be tri-axles with the remaining two based on 4x2 chassis.
The 18 tri-axle vehicles will be built on Scania’s K 410 6x2*4 rear-steer chassis and equipped with Scania’s 404bhp engine and fully automated Opticruise gear selection system. Their Irizar i6S bodywork will be 13.2m long and will feature 53 reclining seats. The body will be finished with extra-dark tinted double glazing, and the coaches will have reversing and road cameras, integrated satellite navigation and Alcoa Dura-Bright alloy wheels.
The remaining two coaches will be based on Scania’s K 360 4x2 chassis fitted with Scania’s 355bhp engine and fully automated Opticruise gear selection system. Their 10.8m Irizar i6S bodywork will incorporate 36 reclining seats and an extensive servery at the rear with built in units for fridges and drinks facilities fitted by AD Coach Systems.
Additional specification includes satellite navigation, twin monitors, dark tinted glass and Alcoa Dura-Bright alloy wheels.
