Richard Ball, senior transport director at Clipper Logistics, says the firm has been using TIP for some time, mainly on short term rental trailers, but that the firm stepped up to the plate when it needed 15 fleet trailers very quickly.
“Their ability to source and supply these trailers within a very short lead time was exceptional,” says Ball.
“This … has led us to using TIP once again for this latest nine-trailer [lease] contract, which also demanded a really short lead time,” he adds.
Ball says that, in his experience, TIP always ensures a smooth handover of new trailers to the fleet, as well as “complete reassurance” through the TIP compliance and maintenance support function.
“TIP synchronises all the service scheduling so that it is easily usable by our depots, ensuring that the all-important issues relating to compliance are managed professionally and efficiently.”
