Coach operator Omega Travel has taken delivery of three Scania OmniExpress tri-axle coaches, with two more to be delivered in the next couple of months, citing vehicle specification and value for money as the reasons for its choice.
The vehicles come with a two-year repair and maintenance contract from dealer TruckEast.
The coaches have 14.1m-long bodies and executive features such as 63 deluxe half-leather passenger seats, Bosch audio/video equipment, zoned climate control, two powered doors, washroom, servery and fridge.
The chassis are 400bhp Euro 5 Scania K 400 EB 6x2*4, and come with Scania Opticruise.
The five additions join two other Scania coaches purchased last year by the Milton Keynes-based firm.
