Stockton Borough Council has taken delivery of seven Mellor high floor vehicles based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, bringing the number of Sprinter-based vehicles in its 57-strong fleet to 22.
Supplied on lease from NRG Fleet Services, the vehicles feature a fully flat floor as well as seating for up to 12 passengers.
John Thirling, fleet services manager for Stockton Borough Council, said: “We believe the Mellor coach built vehicle is the perfect size and specification for the route and the number of passengers it needs to accommodate.”
