Vision Systems’ Safety Technologies division, which specialises in driver assistance systems and driver protection doors, has developed a screen to help protect bus and coach drivers from possible transmission of the virus when in contact with passengers.
This polycarbonate partition, said to be durable, resistant and made of a non-brittle material, is installed on an existing driver door.
The design is said not to generate additional vibration, nor does its fitment affect the lining or on the internal mechanisms of the door.
The anti-COVID-19 screen can be adapted to all driver doors, is said to be easily mountable, and offers easy cleaning.
