Municipal vehicle hire company CTS Hire has achieved the IRTE’s Workshop Accreditation award for excellence at its Brackley depot in the Midlands.
The IRTE Workshop Accreditation scheme is an independent verification of the health and safety, quality and expertise of workshops in the HGV and PSV industries. IRTE auditors carry out an in-depth inspection, which includes premises, tools, equipment, staff and documentation.
Allan Robinson, CTS Hire’s depot manager for Brackley (pictured), says: “The accreditation looks at the whole process from when a vehicle enters the site, through every stage of service until the final inspection when the vehicle is signed off and ready to hire again.
“All actions must be correct, equipment properly calibrated and our MOT pass rate above the national average.
“It’s been a very positive experience and good for the whole business.”
