DAF Trucks has announced that managing director Ray Ashworth (pictured) will be retiring in the next few months and will be replaced by Robin Easton, currently managing director of Paccar India.
Ashworth, 63, has notched up 48 years in the UK truck industry, the last eight as DAF’s managing director.
The move sees Easton, 50, returning to the UK where he began his career, having spent the last two years as MD of the India operation.
