The certification means that operators can buy the company’s OEM-quality replacement DPFs without invalidating the vehicle’s manufacturer warranty.
The approval comes after “months of predetermined testing at an independent European facility”, according to Eminox, to ensure that its DPFs meet Euro VI emissions limits throughout their lifecycles.
Neil Koston, aftermarket manager for Eminox, says: “As well as having received UNECE certification, our aftermarket DPFs are Block Exemption Regulation (BER) compliant, which means replacing a blocked or damaged DPF with an Eminox DPF will not conflict with any manufacturer’s warranty.
“While DPF cleaning is an alternative option, your vehicle could be off road for up to five days. With an Eminox replacement DPF, this vehicle downtime can be reduced to just 24 hours.”
