The three-day show, which is the largest dedicated event in Europe for the sector, promises to showcase 120 vehicles as well as associated engineering technologies and services from 291 exhibitors.
Supported by the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) trade association, the 2016 event is expected to attract more than 9,500 industry buyers from across Europe.
“Over the three-day show we will all get the chance to catch up with industry friends and colleagues… But the real focus of the show comes with seeing all the fantastic new vehicles and products on display,” states Simon Posner, CEO of the CPT UK.
“All the latest mini, midi and full size buses and coaches from leading manufacturers and dealers will be on display, including ultra-low and zero-emission vehicles – hybrid, electric and gas powered,” adds event director Helen Conway:
“Buying a new coach or bus is no small investment,” she continues.
“Being able to compare what’s on offer, and get advice and inspiration to ensure you make the best decisions for your business, is what makes Euro Bus Expo such an exciting and invaluable experience,”
Big names at this year’s exhibition include: Mercedes-Benz, Alexander Dennis, Volvo Group, MAN, Irizar, Wrights Group, Scania, Optare, Rescroft, VDL, Van Hool, Yutong, EVM Direct, Temsa Global, BYD Europe and Iveco Bus.
Beyond the show itself, the opening day features a Master Class Theatre line-up including Lord Snape from the Labour Party, who will be sharing his perspective on the Bus Services Bill.
Transport Minister for Buses Andrew Jones MP will also give his address on the Bus Services Bill on Thursday 3 November.
