Guest Motors is helping to keep the nation's pubs well stocked with Everards beers, having supplied a new dray to the Leicestershire-based brewery.
The Iveco Eurocargo truck, which features the Euro 5 common rail injection system, will be making weekly trips to London, Wales and Morecambe.
It also conforms to the EEV (enhanced environmentally-friendly vehicle) standards, offering a claimed 5% better fuel consumption and C02 emissions.
"We're pleased to be able to work with other local companies, and with Guests being based in nearby Enderby, it made perfect sense for us to acquire the latest addition to our fleet from our local dealer," says Pip Podgers, of Podgers Transport, which operates the Everards fleet.
"We chose this truck due to its greener engine credentials and lower emissions. Iveco's reputation for build quality and reliability is outstanding," he adds.
