The latest arrivals are Sprinter 314 CDI chassis cabs with dropside bodies (pictured) and are equipped with locking toolboxes, built to Findley’s spec by Tyneside Coachworks.
The Sprinters join a 26-strong fleet of Mercedes vehicles supplied within the last year by dealer Bell Truck and Van. They join six other Sprinters, 314 CDI panel vans with the Premium Edition spec. Extras include integrated Becker Map Pilot sat nav and Audio 15 colour screen infotainment systems, TempMatic air-conditioning, Comfort driver’s seats with arm-rests, outside temperature indicators and chrome effect grilles.
Findley also operates ten Citan 109 CDI vehicles, six of which are Long panel vans and four Extra-long crew vans.
All vehicles are supplied with Agility funding deals from Mercedes-Benz Financial Services and are maintained by the dealer under Service Care plans.
“We had been running vans by another manufacturer but they just weren’t reliable enough,” says Grant Findley, managing director. “I’d heard some very positive reports about Mercedes-Benz vehicles, so contacted Bell Truck & Van to see what they could offer.
“I was immediately impressed by the dealer’s professional approach,” he says, adding: “The Agility finance package is also keenly priced, and allows us to keep our options open until the end of the term.”
The Mercedes-Benz vans are “living up to my high expectations”, adds Findley, with drivers reporting excellent handling and comfort.
“The vans look fantastic, too... We pride ourselves on offering the highest quality of workmanship and service levels to our customers, and the Mercedes-Benz brand image can only help to reinforce our own.”
