Elgin-based S&D Harper has taken delivery of its first Isuzu 7.5-tonne rigid, which is now delivering gas products to homes and businesses in north-east Scotland.
The Isuzu N75.190 short wheelbase chassis cab has been specified with a 14ft alloy dropside body, with a rear-mounted tail-lift.
The Isuzu was chosen after local company Elgin Truck & Van was appointed as an Isuzu Truck service dealer.
“We have always had good reliable service from Elgin Truck & Van and as such we were more than happy to add our first Isuzu into the gas delivery fleet,” says Stuart Harper, director of S&D Harper.
“Now that the vehicle has been in service for a while, we are extremely happy with its performance and the feedback from the driver has also been excellent.”
The truck is expected to be in service for five years, covering 25,000 miles per annum.
