Ford has reported its strongest month for 25 years, with commercial vehicle sales up by 27% in June compared to the same month last year.
The figures echo the market data released by the SMMT this week, and Ford of Britain chairman Andy Barratt says the manufacturer's extended commercial vehicle range delivered "outstanding sales results".
Its market share in June rose from 19.1% to 23.6%; Ford CV sales for the first six months of this year were up by 36%.
