FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme) has reached the 100th new registration since the scheme went national and became self-funded on 17 February 2015.
"We are delighted with this early success and we look forward to reaching further milestones," comments FORS operations director Anne Johnson.
"Our aim is to fully establish FORS as the single national standard for the industry," she says, adding that the accreditation gives operators throughout the UK the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to raising both operational and professional standards.
FORS is an accreditation scheme – including for CLOCS (Construction Logistics and Cycle Safety) – that delivers safety, environmental and efficiency benefits for fleet operators by encouraging the adoption of best practice industry standards.
