Commercial vehicle services business Fraikin has published the first of a new series of guidebooks, designed to help commercial vehicle operators stay up to date with legislative issues and changing technology within the road transport industry.
The first two guides in the ‘What you need to know’ series are on sustainable transport and clean air, and on vehicle safety.
The 12-page booklets can be downloaded, free of charge, from the website (see link below) or are available by emailing maria.holmes-keeling@fraikin.com
The vehicle safety booklet (pictured) includes information on the proposed Direct Vision standard, along with refresher information on topics such as the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
The sustainability guide covers looks at Euro VI and beyond, ultra-low emissions zones (ULEZ) and future fuels, and details of where operators can turn for independent advice.
Fraikin plans to launch more guidebooks later this year.
