The trailers have gone into operation and are boosting Greencarrier's freight capability for distribution to Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.
Adam Gaunt, Greencarrier's fleet controller (pictured, left, with Krone's Jason Chipchase), says the Dry Liners "come into their own" on food transport and storage contracts, with their Duoplex steel construction protecting against moisture ingress and potential tampering.
The Profi Liners, meanwhile, are being used for general haulage and groupage work, carrying varied loads ranging from lawnmowers to motorbikes.
Gaunt says the Profi Liners' sliding roofs and Multi Lock side rave strapping points are a particular benefit. "The trailers are specified with 10 multi positional post pockets in the floor centre and 10 pairs along the sides, which mean we can load virtually anything safely and securely along the entire trailer length," he adds.
The trailers are being maintained by TIP, with the contract including 24-hour breakdown assistance.
