West Bromwich dealer group Guest Trucks has strengthened its Iveco truck network by adding four dealerships trading as Sherwood Truck & Van.
The acquisition makes Guest Trucks one of the largest independently owned commercial vehicle dealer groups and the single largest Iveco distributor in the UK.
Robert Spittle, managing director of Truck Operations for family-owned Guest Group, points out that the deal follows an 18-month period that has already seen Guest Trucks take responsibility for Telford and North Wales, Leicestershire and Cambridgeshire.
It now has new facilities in Leicester, Peterborough, Boston and Cambridge, as well as the existing dealerships in West Bromwich, Wolverhampton, Birmingham and Coventry – and the company works with authorised repairers in Telford, Glan Conwy, Redditch, Hinckley and King's Lynn.
The latest move adds Iveco sales and service facilities in Blackwell, Nottingham, Sheffield and Stoke-on-Trent, as well as access to authorised repairers in Swadlincote, Newark and Doncaster.
