Temperature-controlled distribution business Harrisons Transport has added eight Volvo FH 4x2 tractor units to its fleet.
Supplied by Thomas Hardie Commercials, the new additions are 454bhp FH units with Volvo’s I-See predictive cruise control and I-Shift gearbox with ‘long haul’ software.
The Globetrotter XL cabs all benefit from single bed living packages which include an under bunk fridge/freezer and a microwave oven.
The Preston-based operator is also using the Dynafleet fleet management system to assist with fuel reporting and tachograph analysis.
The new trucks are all supplied on Volvo Gold R&M contracts.
