Managing director Alan Wright said: “The Harsh skiploader is very well specified and looks to be particularly well built and durable. Our business is all about providing customers with a completely reliable, no-fuss everyday service, so we choose our trucks carefully. We also want vehicles that are cost-effective, efficient and practical to own, whilst also being safe and easy to operate for our drivers. The Harsh skip unit looks like it ticks every box.”

Mounted on an 18t Iveco Eurocargo chassis, this truck is the first Iveco in Wright’s fleet, and also the company’s first truck with an automatic gearbox. Similarly advanced, the Harsh unit also features fully hand-held remote control, making the overall vehicle ideal for urban collections and deliveries, often conducted in narrow streets and awkward and cramped working environments.

As well as wireless remote control, Wright’s high spec HS14 skiploader has also been supplied with an outside storage rack, fold-away nearside access ladder, rear facing LED lighting over the deck, extra LED reversing lights and a fast-action cantilever sheeting system.

Constructed in heavy duty Hardox and Domex steel, the Harsh HS14 offers a performance at 18t GVW thanks to 14 tonnes lift capacity as well as independent operation of both the lifting arms and retractable stability feet.
