The 70-seater vehicle is 12.9m long and 3.99m high. The low floor bus also features two fixed-in-space wheelchairs and an automatic sliding ramp.
It has an independent suspension system in the first driving axle, with a 240kW wheel motor axle combined with a motor in the second axle to minimise electricity loss.
A rear-wheel steering system works with in conjunction with the first axle’s steering system.
The bus has a 384kWh water-cooled high-efficiency polymer battery, with a maximum 300km range on a single charge. A full charge takes 72 minutes.
Safety features include: Vehicle Dynamic Control, which helps to identify the driver’s intended driving direction; Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, which uses the front-facing camera to help detect an imminent collision, applying autonomous braking if necessary; and Lane Keeping Assist.
The vehicle was developed in an 18-month project, supported by the Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
