Iveco's Daily 2014 – the third-generation of the LCV – will be available from June in van, chassis cab and minibus formats, delivering a claimed 5% fuel saving on previous models.
The van has been upgraded to deliver better handling and carrying capacity, with, for example, a more accessible cargo bed.
Longer wheelbases and a shortened rear overhang also mean manoeuvrability has not been compromised, says Iveco.
All vewhicles up to 3.5 tonnes also have new front suspensions. And further, a new rear suspension layout has been designed for single wheel drive models to decrease the height of the loading platform by 55mm.
Iveco says the new generation models use 5% less fuel than their predecessors and offer a reduced total cost of ownership. All are available with a choice of engines, transmissions and axle ratios.
Inside the cab, features include improved air conditioning and increased soundproofing.
