Jackson Coachworks has unveiled a new eco, aerodynamic refrigerated truck body, said to be the first of its kind available.
It uses Jackson's Eistechnik refrigeration and combines this with a movable bulkhead – previously thought to be impossible with eutectics – for multi-temperature operations, a front sloping roof aligned with air management fairings and rear roof vortex generation.
Because of the advanced design, the patents-pending Eisbars – Jackson's eutectic beam – require only half the power of other systems to charge down to temperature substantially, so reducing power costs as well as pollution.
The Eisbars provide over a third more refrigeration capacity for frozen applications and nearly double the power for chill use.
