Knapen Trailers is launching a new moving floor which, it claims, has outperformed a rival in tests and sets a new benchmark for durability.
The Dura-Floor, says Knapen, offers operators low cost of ownership thanks to its wear-resistant capabilities.
The field tests were carried out on a 10mm Dura-Floor and a competitor’s floor of the same thickness. Glass shards and quarry stone were unloaded for a prolonged period and resulted in no visible change to the Dura-Floor, while the well-known rival’s 10mm floor was visibly thinner.
This means moving floor trailers can be used to transport rough cargo, says Knapen, giving operators more volume and flexibility than is typically achieved with tippers.
