Lakes Scaffolding raises the bar with Isuzu

Cumbria-based Lakes Scaffolding has taken delivery of three new Isuzu trucks over the past year – a 3.5-tonne Grafter and two 7.5-tonne Forwards – completing its move to an all-Isuzu fleet.

The first, the Grafter, was acquired after a successful evaluation of a second-hand Grafter. The impact was immediate and the operator soon swapped it for a new model.

“Following the success of the 3.5-tonne Isuzu Grafter, we had no hesitation in taking Isuzu again when we needed to replace our 7.5-tonne trucks,” says director Simon Shaw.

“The Isuzu 7.5-tonne rigids carry at least one tonne more payload than their predecessors, and the smaller overall footprint of the vehicle and body makes them ideal for ease of access on so many sites within rural Cumbria.”

Supplied by dealer Warrington Vehicle Centre, the new vehicles all feature aluminium dropside bodies.

Shaw adds: “The three Isuzu trucks are absolutely brilliant. I wouldn’t even think about buying any other make of truck.”
