Wimbledon-based haulier ELB Partners is celebrating achieving FORS Gold accreditation for the fifth year in a row – a result, it says, of continued investment in its fleet and drivers.
All drivers have attended the FORS Safe Urban Driving course and the operator has upgraded its entire 50-strong fleet to Euro VI vehicles to meet the requirements of the capital’s ULEZ (ultra low emission zone).
The company’s latest trucks have five-way cameras, along with side-scan detection and white noise left-turn warning systems.
Driver visibility is also boosted by additional windows in passenger doors of its 18- and 12-tonners.
ELB first achieved FORS accreditation in 2012 at the Bronze level; its first gold accolade was in 2015.
