Apprentice technicians at Hugh Baird College in Liverpool have developed an innovative promotional tool for Mahle Aftermarket to use at commercial vehicle trade shows.
Their creation comprises three giant filter men models all made from Mahle original filters.
Taking part in the challenge were three groups of Level 1 motor vehicle students and their work was judged by Mahle national sales manage, Paul Grosvenor.
Each model stands eight foot tall and has been designed to split into two pieces for transportation and assembly at events.
As well as taking the winning model to events, another of the Mahle men will now take pride of place at the company's manufacturing plant in Telford.
