Remaining on the same site, located in the Fengate area of Peterborough and with a satellite depot at Pinchbeck in Spalding, Manchetts will continue to provide customers with vehicle sales, service and parts for MAN trucks, vans and buses.
Eva Evans, head of network development and strategic projects, MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd, said: “Taking over the existing Motus Commercials facility and the skills and services of the highly motivated, fully-trained and experienced workforce is key to continuity and ensures we meet the high levels of service demanded by our customers.”
The Manchetts Peterborough facility features an equipped and comprehensively-specified seven-bay workshop, including an ATF testing lane and a tachograph calibration facility. Supporting the workshop is a parts warehouse. Seventeen qualified technicians supported by experienced parts staff work in shifts throughout the week and across the weekends. Both sites also operate Mobile24 customer support vehicles offering assistance 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Manchetts Peterborough has its own dedicated MAN TGE van sales executive based at Fengate site. MAN employs its own direct truck sales executive who is also based at the same site. Peter Bradshaw is the Manchetts Peterborough branch manager.
