Mann and Hummel employees respond to Japanese relief appeal

Mann+Hummel employees world-wide have collected €50,000 to date for the victims of the Japanese earth quake and tsunami, from fund-raising at more than 40 locations world-wide.
"Our plant is situated south of Tokyo," explains Frank Jehle, deputy CEO at Mann+Hummel. "We are all pleased that, under the circumstances, they are doing well and, through our donations, we are able to provide some assistance and demonstrate our solidarity with people in need." Jehle says that Mann+Hummel has also made a corporate donation of "a five-figure sum" as initial assistance, to be distributed by the Japanese Mann+Hummel company for local relief.
