Mobile diagnostic and screening solutions provider InHealth has taken delivery of three Volvo FH tractors, which are undergoing in-service performance trials with two vehicles from another manufacturer.

Supplied by the Banbury dealerpoint of Volvo Truck and Bus Centre London, InHealth’s new additions are all Euro VI D 6x2 pusher axle tractors with a power output of 494bhp.

The trio are supplied with five-year Volvo R&M contracts and InHealth is using Dynafleet, Volvo’s fleet management solution, to monitor the vehicles’ performance.

The 3.9m wheelbase chassis have Globetrotter XL cabs and One Bed Living packages, along with other driver-specified extras such as custom-fitted mats.

“Our drivers are regularly away for days on end, the cabs are their homes and offices, so their input into which trucks were purchased and the associated specifications were paramount in our decision-making process,” says Graham Ogden, director of operations at the High Wycombe-based operator.

The new Volvos join a fleet of 35 trucks and 110 trailers, at the company’s fleet base in Bicester.
