Microlise Group has strengthened its transport management system (TMS) offering with the acquisition of Enterprise Software Systems (ESSL).
The acquisition is said to be particularly beneficial for larger enterprise customers and those with more sophisticated needs, offering a subcontractor management tool and business intelligence reporting capabilities.
ESSL has been trading for over 25 years and is a leading supplier of transport management software for medium to large UK transport companies.
ESSL’s software is already used by some of Microlise’s transport customers. Furthermore, ESSL already integrates with Microlise's existing suite of products, benefiting from shared resources.
