The new vehicle promises unrivalled performance with a host of new features, including two four-cylinder engines (2.3- and 3-litre) delivering up to 210bhp and 470 Nm of torque.
Fuel savings, says Iveco, are up to 8% better than the previous Euro 5 model, and the New Daily Euro 6 also offers longer service intervals and longer lasting components – reducing maintenance and repair costs by up to 12%.
The 3-litre F1C engine features selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology, a feature which will be added to the 2.3-litre engine at the start of 2017.
Inside, a key addition is Daily Business Up, a new driver connectivity application described as “a true professional work tool” – it links with the driver’s smartphone or tablet to deliver a connected workstation. Features include a link to a Driving Style Evaluation (DSE) system, a navigation system by Sygic and the Interactive User Handbook.
The app also serves as the driver’s Business Assistant, helping to optimise the fleet’s efficiency with Fleetwork and to keep track of scheduled services. The app also takes care of customer assistance, providing a direct link to Iveco Assistance Non Stop, for 24/7 roadside assistance.
The noise level in the cab has been reduced by 4 decibels and a revised layout means there are now up to 18 storage compartments in the cab.
