The Mercedes-Benz New Vito was the official vehicle for last month’s Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open, transporting players and VIPs around the event.
Supplied by dealer Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles Ayr, 10 New Vito 116 BlueTEC models were used – eight crew van variants and two Tourers – at Dundonald Links in North Ayrshire.
Another crew van and one panel van were on display to the estimated 9,500 spectators.
Harry Owen, group director of event promoter Corbis, says: "The New Vito vehicles were perfect for this prestigious event on The Ladies European Tour – they provided extremely smart, comfortable and safe transport for some of the world's best players, and worked faultlessly across the three days of competition."
The New Vito is the first vehicle in the mid-sized van sector to feature a Euro 6 engine.
