No gripes from Duncan Grain with Renault Range T

Heavy Goods Vehicles
Morayshire-based Duncan Grain has expanded its fleet with a 44-tonne Range T480 tag axle, to collect grain from malting facilities and delivering on to distilleries for whisky production.

Supplied by Renault Trucks Scotland, the new addition is on a five-year full R&M contract, with all work being carried out by Renault’s approved agent Elgin Truck and Van Centre.

“Whisky production is a serious business in the north of Scotland, so we need trucks that are reliable and come with an excellent back-up service,” says Duncan Grain’s owner Abby Duncan.

“We’ve been running Premiums for several years and we’ve always been happy with them. When we decided to get a new vehicle, the Range T480 was the logical next step for our business. We certainly have been impressed, the extra space in the cab has gone down really well with the drivers, too, and they have commented on how comfortable they are to drive.”

Duncan adds that the service from Elgin Truck and Van Centre was key to the decision: “They deliver a quality service and the highly-experienced technicians are excellent, making sure that downtime is minimised and the trucks are on the road delivering grain to our customers efficiently and on time.”
