Noone Transport picks Cool Liners for security and flexibility

Trailers
Noone Transport has taken delivery of 10 more Cool Liners from Krone, joining existing double-deck and standard Cool Liners already in operation in its 70-strong mixed trailer fleet.

The latest additions are a mix of multi-temperature and standard single-temperature units, with Ireland-based Noone citing the Cool Liner’s rear door design and load security as key factors in its decision.

“As our contracts become more diverse and our business continues to grow, we need trailers that provide maximum flexibility and load security,” says Daniel Noone, the operator’s financial controller.

“We opted for the Krone double-deckers and multi-temperature trailers because they allow us to carry mixed cargo at different temperatures while guaranteeing load security and optimum utilisation of the load space.”

For dual temperatures and to separate the load, the company is using Krone’s Isowall moveable, lightweight bulkheads.

The operator is also benefiting from KSC ProPlus Cool, Krone’s telematics system, which monitors load temperatures, coupling status, brake condition, door openings and trailer location.

“We bought our first Krone in 2008,” adds Noone. “The build quality and technology continues to be of the highest standard and exactly matches our transport needs.”
