Exeter airport-based urgent deliveries specialist Priority Transport has switched to Seven Telematics for all temperature-controlled and vehicle tracking operations, following good experience with TranScan 2 data logging on its chilled/frozen vehicles.
Priority director Steve Brown says all vehicles have now been fitted with Seven Telematics’ Cool Track systems for 24/7 remote monitoring. Meanwhile, vehicles in the dry freight fleet have been equipped with Seven’s Asset Track remote monitoring systems.
“Although we were using Seven’s TranScan 2 for our temperature-controlled vehicles, we were using another provider for our tracking systems,” explains Brown.
“However, looking at their Cool Track and Asset Track products we soon realised these provided more in-depth reporting, with a superb web interface and a really practical app for mobile viewing,” he says.
Four months on and Brown says the firm has been “really impressed” by the system and the support.
