Protection and reward with RHA’s FR8 Haulage insurance

RHA (the Road Haulage Association) has announced today (26 April 2016 at the CV Show, NEC, Birmingham) that it is offering an exclusive insurance service to members, which offers protection and reward for organisations that commit to raising driver and vehicle standards.

Described as “more than just insurance”, FR8 Haulage has been developed by the RHA in partnership with broker Griffiths & Armour Insurance and Aviva Insurance.

FR8 includes practical and tailored support to promote safer operations and to minimise the cost of premiums.

Policyholders receive inclusive legal advice, provided by RHA Legal Services, with support from none other than Backhouse Jones solicitors – potentially saving hefty legal fees.

Operators are also offered approved Driver CPC training courses, which, says RHA, not only ensure statutory compliance but also boost productivity and safety.

“Thanks to the vision and open minded approach of our partners, Griffiths & Armour and Aviva, I am delighted that the RHA can now offer insurance products to its members that reward their investment in the Driver CPC and training and their efforts to run a safe and compliant operation,” says Richard Burnett, RHA chief executive.

“The ability to recognise this investment in a professional operation, in terms of the cost of insuring it and its fleet of trucks, is a major step forward and one the RHA is proud to have been able to take.”
