Pulling their weight: Stobart and Volvo support world record attempt

Tractor Units
Haulier Eddie Stobard is supplying two Volvo FH tractors to teams attempting to set a Guinness World Record at a charity truck pull challenge in Stroud on 24 May.

A one-mile truck pull is planned for 11am on the A46 at Merry-Walks, Stroud. The area will be closed off to traffic for the event.

Eleven teams of 15 people will make the attempt, with the 8-tonne tractors.

The whole day will run from 11am to 9pm, with fun activities and entertainment being held to raise money for three charities: Fallen Fusiliers, the British Heart Foundation and Action for Children
