The call comes from fleet consultancy and finance business Puddy’s Vehicle Solutions (PVS) Group, which has published a white paper on upcoming changes to the regulatory landscape for van operators.
The document, called ‘PVS Talks... WLTP Type Approval for LCVs’ (click the link below), looks at the impact of the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) protocol on all light commercial vehicles, and the related Real Driving Emissions test procedure.
There has been a phased introduction for the new type approval on vans; heavier vans will be included from September 2019.
The document, written by PVS Group finance analyst Daniel Tuz (pictured), also includes information on the new vehicle excise duty (VED) regime for vans from April 2021.
