After 37 years, Ross & Bonnyman has ceased manufacturing commercial vehicle tail lifts, and Ratcliff Palfinger has acquired the assets of its spare parts business.
Ross & Bonnyman will continue to manufacture ambulance lifts, yard lifts, lifting decks and other specialised engineered products.
Meanwhile, as part of the transfer, Ratcliff Palfinger is also undertaking the existing commercial vehicle tail lift warranty obligations of Ross & Bonnyman, supported by its agent network.
The transfer is subject to OFT approval and, until such approval has been received, business is to continue as normal through Ross & Bonnyman. Ratcliff Palfinger anticipate approval after 4 January 2011.
