The operator’s fleet covers a total of 63 million km each year, so a highly efficient method of tractor-trailer coupling is essential.
“The TechLock fifth wheel couplers we use have a unique jaw mechanism with a height sensor that will not allow the fifth wheel to close if the kingpin enters at the wrong height or position,” says Paul Allera, head of fleet.
