GOfers Logistics Worldwide has taken delivery of 20 new Schmitz Cargobull Euroliners for its 30-strong fleet, each supplied in a black, yellow and white livery.
The semi-trailers – S.CS Universal curtainsiders – will be joined by a further 10 identical units due to enter service later in 2013.
The Cambridge-based company will use the tri-axle trailers to run predominantly between the UK and mainland Europe, carrying cargos including raw materials, consumables and finished products.
The curtainsiders have been built to a European specification, offering the choice of four loading points, together with a tarpaulin sliding roof, which maximises internal trailer height.
Their lightweight design also ensures a competitive payload capacity and space to transport 34 Euro pallets, compared with the 33 pallets common on most UK-specification trailers.
"I have a lot of confidence in the Schmitz Cargobull product, especially after visiting the factory in Altenberge, Germany, and seeing the Euroliners in production," comments a GOfers Logistics Worldwide spokesman.
Each of the trailers has been supplied on a full service European maintenance contract.
