This is the reefer manufacturer's top-of-the-range temperature controlled semi-trailer, with the firm's own-brand refrigeration unit, and the launch follows release of the mono-temp model last year.
The multi-temp fridge can controls up to three compartments in a trailer, providing what Schmitz Cargobull claims is "pharmaceutical-grade monitoring and cooling".
"The TCS&D Show is the jewel in the crown for showcasing the latest in reefer technology and, as such, it's the perfect venue to premiere our multi-temp S.KO Cool Executive," comments Paul Avery, managing director of Schmitz Cargobull UK
Built in Vreden, Germany, the new reefer fridge also incorporates Schmitz's ultra-compact roof evaporator, which maximises interior load capacity.
And the company says that its evaporator efficiency means fewer cooling ribs required to control the temperature, leading to "up to 50% fewer defrosting cycles".
The system also incorporates Schmitz Cargobull's integrated TrailerConnect temperature and mapping telematics, covering security and cold chain temperature maintenance proof.
