Scotland’s largest independent coach operator Park’s of Hamilton has ordered 39 new Volvo vehicles – the largest single order ever received by Volvo Bus.
The order will be delivered in the first half of 2018 and comprises: ten B11R Jonckheeres, two of which will be used for corporate and football team work; ten B11R Plaxton Elites; two B8R Plaxton Leopard 70-seaters; and 17 B11R 6x2 specification vehicles, destined for National Express.
Michael Andrews, director for Park’s of Hamilton, says: “We felt that Volvo offered the best range of chassis and bodywork combinations that would provide us with the flexibility we need.
“Having been a customer since 1973, the Volvo offer is most definitely tried and tested by us and we had no hesitation in looking to them to supply our new coaches.”
